Jennifer is an experienced mental health therapist who provides online, in-person, and telephone counselling support services to individuals in British Columbia.
In my practice, I believe that you are the expert in your own life, and my goal is to come alongside you in your work to support you in learning how to resolve, manage, or accept the various challenges that life brings. I aim to create a warm, judgment-free environment where clients may feel safe to explore their thoughts, feelings, memories, relationships, and behaviours more deeply and authentically, with the overall goal in mind of creating lasting change for a more balanced and resourceful life. In addition to building a trusting relationship with my clients, I draw from a number of different approaches in my sessions, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), EMDR, mindfulness & acceptance practices, and motivational interviewing.
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor in British Columbia. This means that I hold a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and have completed the requisite clinical training and supervisory experiences necessary to practice clinical counselling with this designation in BC.
